Definitions

• "The Platform" refers to kapkit.com, including the Learn modules, dashboard, and any associated services.
• "Educational Content" refers to all lessons, tutorials, guides, and instructional material provided through the Learn platform.
• "Software" refers to source code provided as part of a purchase (e.g., ServiceKit and Booking Kit), including any private copies, modifications, or derivatives you create.
• "You" / "Buyer" refers to anyone who creates an account or makes a purchase on the Platform.
• "We" / "KapKit" refers to the operator of kapkit.com.

Nature of the product

The Learn platform and all associated modules (including ServiceKit and Booking Kit) are educational products. The lessons teach software development concepts through guided, hands-on building exercises.

Ownership and license

When you purchase ServiceKit and Booking Kit or any paid module:

• You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and deploy the purchased source code for the licensed business or personal use identified with the purchase.
• You may keep the source in private business-controlled locations, including a private repo you own.
• You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share the source code, share download links, or share educational content with third parties.
• You may deploy the software for your own business operations (e.g., managing your own customers, jobs, and invoices).
• You may not offer the software or derivatives as a competing SaaS, hosted product, source-code product, template, marketplace item, or educational product.

Booking Kit source access

Booking Kit source access is delivered through a controlled private GitHub repository after purchase and after you accept the source-access terms in the lessons.

• Booking Kit may be used only as a booking solution for your own business.
• No client deployments, redistribution, sublicensing, resale, publishing, or sharing of the Booking Kit source, patterns, private repo access, or lesson materials is allowed.
• Source access is considered delivered when you accept private repo access, fork, clone, download, or otherwise copy the source after accepting the source terms.
• Refunds and revocations can remove future access, but they cannot undo source you already copied. Continued use remains limited by these terms and the accepted license scope.
• Booking Kit includes lifetime Learn access and a 12-month read-only source-access window unless the offer page says otherwise.

Your responsibilities

Once you deploy the software to your own infrastructure, you are fully responsible for:

• Server provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and security
• Database backups, updates, and disaster recovery
• Keeping dependencies, packages, and the operating system up to date
• Securing API keys, credentials, and environment variables
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including GDPR, PCI-DSS, data protection, and privacy laws in your jurisdiction)
• Protecting your customers' data
• Any modifications you make to the source code

The lessons include guidance on security best practices (firewall setup, rate limiting, least-privilege database access, etc.), but following these lessons does not guarantee security. You are responsible for assessing and maintaining the security posture of your deployment.

No warranty

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• KapKit is not liable for any data breaches, data loss, security incidents, downtime, or business losses arising from your deployment or use of the software.
• KapKit is not liable for any damages resulting from your failure to maintain, update, or secure your deployment.
• Total liability for any claim related to the Platform or any purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Support and updates

Your purchase is a one-time transaction for educational content and source code access. Unless the offer says otherwise, a ServiceKit and Booking Kit purchase includes access to future source-package downloads or approved private-repo source access for the stated access window after purchase, but not hands-on merge work for heavily customized installs. There is no ongoing support obligation, service-level agreement, or guaranteed update schedule. If you need hands-on help with your deployment, custom development services are available separately via the contact page.

Account and payments

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• Refund eligibility depends on source access. By default, refund support is available before a source archive has been downloaded or if paid access cannot be provided. After source download, private repo acceptance, fork, clone, or any copied source access, refunds are not promised except where required by law or explicitly approved.

Free modules

Some modules are offered for free. These are subject to the same terms regarding educational nature, no warranty, and limitation of liability. Free modules may be modified or removed at any time.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including but not limited to redistribution of source code or educational content. If your account is terminated for a violation, no refund will be issued. If access is revoked because of refund, dispute, chargeback, or license violation, future downloads and update access stop immediately and your continued use is governed by the applicable license and legal requirements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.
